Read, Watch, Listen
What I read, watched and listened to in March
Watch: Class of 07
This Australian dystopian feminist comedy was exactly what I needed this past weekend! After getting dumped on national television, Zoe (played by Emily Browning) goes into hiding by living off-grid until an apocalyptical tidal wave hits during her ten-year high school reunion and must seek shelter at her old all girls high school. I loved every second of this show. I highly recommend you stop whatever you’re doing and go binge this.
Read: Dear Girl
Dear Girl is a journey from girlhood to womanhood. It is the search for truth in silence and a love letter to the sisterhood. Treat yourself to this delightful little book and remember to read poetry often.
Listen: All Good People Here
I’ve been binging Ashley Flower’s podcast Crime Junkie for a while now and am just now realizing she wrote a book. I listened to the audiobook (which she narrates by the way) in two days and I was hooked. I love that she narrates it, it made the story all the better. I’ll just be over here waiting as patiently as I can for her next thriller.
