Weekend Wrap Up

A quiet but busy weekend including new dinner and drink recipes, attending the Rancho Mirage Writer’s Festival and getting to meet Elin Hilderbrand and Julia Whelan, which was honestly the highlight of the month for me! My drink of the moment is what I like to call a “Spa-tini” (a combination of vodka, mint, lime juice and cucumber), it has been my go to lately. I’m on a new work schedule so I get home a few hours earlier than usual which means I finally have time to squeeze in a late afternoon walk and time to work on the guest room, which has kind of become my favorite room in the house.
