Friday Things
The motivation to show up here has been depleted because society feels like it’s getting ready to crumble. I find myself paralyzed from the insanity of the world, social media and the take over of AI. I'm not in a healthy headspace, but who is right now? At the same time I miss creating, I miss writing and I miss the community of artists and writers. Work is debilitating and all I want to do is read my books, go on walks with my husband, and hang out with my cats.
My sister’s been out of town for the last week so I temporarily moved in to her house and am taking care of her animals and plants and honestly I can’t wait to get in her gigantic comfy bed, hang out with Pepper and Minnie (her two precious geriatric cats) and do a little online shopping, and by online shopping I actually mean pinning and saving things for future purchases because, you know, no one can afford to even live right now. Wishing everyone a Happy Friday and relaxing weekend.
The 90s called, square toed healed boots are back.
Everyone just needs an elevated around the house comfy uniform.
For a long time I loved bare kitchen counters, but stacking cookbooks, incorporating art prints and small table lamps in the kitchen, it feels more lived in and cozy.
Something that feels nostalgic and multifunctional.
A cashmere wrap should be a staple in your wardrobe.
