Weekend Wrap Up

The perfect summer weekend starts off with a work trip to San Diego. Part of my job includes working with special collections, and recently I was invited to view and assess some collections that are held at the University of San Diego. Spending the day at USD brought me back to the days of being a young college student. It made me excited for the groups of high school students touring campus with their parents and watching the screaming girls who were excited to stay over night in the dorms. I’m guessing there was a summer program starting the week I visited.

The rest of the weekend was quiet and lazy and it was perfect. A new bagel place opened a few months ago and instead of waiting in hour long lines with the Coachella goers, my husband and I waited for a slower and less chaotic morning to try out H & H bagels. it did not disappoint and I will be a Saturday regular. The rest of the weekend was spent poolside, reading books, buying more Le Petite Marseillais body wash and treating myself to Dairy Boy polos. Saturday Night was reserved for my favorite lazy weekend plans, scouring Tubi’s 80’s horror catalog.
