She Prefers A Handwritten Note

She Prefers A Handwritten Note

Last month I read an article by a writer I’ve been following for years and I simply can’t let it go. It’s all about thank you notes - like a hand written, stick a postage stamp on the envelope and drop in in the mailbox kind of letter. No emails or texts, I’m talking snail mail people. When was the last time you sent a hand written thank you card? This has been a year of disasters and with the state of our country, something as simple as a thank you and acknowledgement can go a long way. So go out and buy a set of thank you cards, a few stamps and write from the heart, remember kindness is free!

So in all seriousness, November just seemed like the perfect month to start this year long project of writing to all the people who have made a difference in my life. It all started here and in the likeness of Gina, I too will write thank you notes to people based on a theme of the month. Since I have recently left the library world, this month is dedicated to all the parents that made my job as a Youth Services Librarian worthwhile.

Have an excellent rest of the week and get ready for holiday guides!!!
