1. Monique grew up in Cebu City in the Philippines eventually moving to Switzerland to go to university at the Chateau Mont Choisi.

2. Her own wedding is what sparked her interest in bridal fashion. After her wedding, she took what she had learned in fashion-design school and created her first gown, the "Laura": a simple spaghetti-strap dress that is still a best seller

3. Some of her celebrity clients includes Blake Lively, Gwyneth Palatow and Reese Witherspoon.

4. She won Best Bridal Fashion Show at the Elle International Bridal Awards in 2017. In December 17, 2018, she was one of the judges in the recently concluded 2018 Miss Universe held at the Impact Arena.

5. She owns more than 80 pairs of shoes and her favorites includes Converse, Christian Louboutin, Chloe and Givenchy but has a thing for Lucite heels, as it has a modern day glass slipper effect.
