Weekend Wrap Up

A few months ago David surprised me with tickets to see Sara Bareilles at the Hollywood Bowl, and I think I screamed for like twenty seconds. I’ve been a long time fan of Sara’s, the fact I missed her when she came through South Bend and performed at the college gymnasium at Saint Mary’s and I was in Chicago visiting my parents, like, why couldn’t my family have picked any other weekend to visit me. Even though that was like fifteen years ago at this point, I still hold this against them. Regardless, she was amazing, as usual. Her opener was, surprise, Renee Elise Goldsberry.

We visited a couple of bookstores I’ve been meaning to check out, we strolled through the gardens at the Greystone Mansion, visited the Larchmont Village, and obviously mapped our whole weekend around restaurants we’ve been wanting to try. The perfect weekend getaway but glad to be home. How was your weekend?
